What You’ll Do
As a Clickhouse Developer, you will be at the forefront of advancing ClickHouse. Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to ClickHouse: Enhance features, fix bugs, and ensure it remains the fastest database on the market.
- Collaborating with the Team: Work closely with the product team to address real-world challenges and improve the platform.
- Writing and Documentation: Produce comprehensive guides, documentation, and occasional blog posts to share your work with the community.
- Participating in On-Call Rotation: Understand the product and customer issues by being part of the on-call team, ensuring you have firsthand experience with the problems being addressed.
Who You Are
Our client is looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in C++: Whether you’re already working with ClickHouse or have deep C++ expertise in another product and want to become a ClickHouse expert.
- Knowledgeable about Databases: A solid understanding of database internals is crucial.
- Proficient in English: Additional languages like Spanish, Russian, or Mandarin are a plus.
- Excellent in Written Communication: You’ll need to communicate clearly and effectively in a remote work environment.
- Located Near European or UTC Timezones: This is preferred to facilitate team collaboration, although not a strict requirement.
